As always, the funds raised at the Gala will help to provide free, comprehensive domestic abuse services for all of Larimer County. In 2009 we sheltered 33% more people than in 2008, breaking every record in Crossroads' history. Unfortunately, this substantial increase in demand for service also resulted in 138 women and children being turned away because the Safehouse was full.
On November 14, 2009, the Crossroads Safehouse's 29th Anniversary Gala grossed over $130,000 to provide safe shelter, food, clothing, and numerous supportive services for the families we serve. Over 3,000 victims of domestic violence benefited from this generous support from the Larimer County community.
